It is with a deep sense of responsibility that I welcome my recent election as Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.
Throughout its long history of more than 6 decades, the Thai Chamber of Commerce has been playing a vital role aiming at working closely with the government sector to improve and strengthen the private sector. I have a strong confidence that the new TCC Board of Directors, the newly appointed sectoral committees and the able staff of the Thai Chamber of Commerce will continue to assert all efforts to support my chairmanship to uphold this TCC traditional role. In the conduct of my duties, I also have a deep intention to work in close relations with all Provincial Chamber of Commerce in Thailand.
Coming from the telecommunication industry, I recognize that TCC members really deserve to have accurate, fast and up-to date information in order to be able to make important commercial and business decisions. It is my firm intention therefore to accelerate the use of computer facilities and the application of the latest information technologies in the functioning of the Thai Chamber of Commerce at the beginning of this new century and new millenium.
I take this opportunity to pledge my dedication to the services of the Thai Chamber of Commerce for the benefits of progress and prosperity of Thailand.
